Tamarisk Friends and Family, It is heartbreaking to see the suffering and uncertainty that the COVID-19 virus is causing all over the world. We must all take great care and exercise caution in everything we do. Our most important concern is the health and safety of our volunteers and families we serve.
To do our part in minimizing the spread of the virus and to protect our volunteers and families we serve, we will be suspending our programming effective immediately to our current families. In addition, we will not be taking new referrals until the virus is showing signs of containment. Please watch for upcoming announcements on our website and Facebook page regarding services being reinstated. If you have immediate concerns, please call the Tamarisk office at (763) 572-1950.
This is a challenging time for all of us and we will get through this together. Please check on an elderly neighbor, lend a hand when you can and always remember to be kind to one another.

Tamarisk’s mission is to create a caring presence and a safe haven for the thoughts, feelings, and concerns of persons, and their families, faced with the end stages of terminal illness. We attend to our companions’ non-medical needs, while simultaneously providing much-needed respite to caregivers.
Compassionate volunteer caregivers are truly the heart of Tamarisk. Our professional and caring volunteers complete our mission, meeting the very personal and individual non-medical needs of the families we serve by providing comfort, support, and companionship.
